Our Story
Before setting up Codeblue in 1997, CEO and Founder, Tom Giffney spent 25 years with the Fire and Ambulance Service. Tom worked as a senior operational Paramedic and Station Officer, attending emergencies and covering events.
Tom went on to become national resuscitation officer for the Irish Heart Foundation & Clinical Manager for University College Dublin and drafting the Advanced Paramedic programme in Ireland. His experience as a Paramedic inspired Tom to set up a dedicated event medical support and training company.
Dedicated Medical Support Services
Today, Codeblue provides a complete suite of medical support services, including Event Medical Support and Ambulance Transport Services, covering everything from planning and risk assessment to Operational Execution from our base locations in The Midlands (UK), Hampshire (UK) and Dublin (Ireland)
Our operations team work with every type of event from endurance races and sports matches to festivals and parades. With the provision of ten-bay field hospitals, emergency ambulances and all the latest medical equipment, we’re ready for any event.
